UWA Official Rulebook
1. Begin promoting by submitting an application. You may choose from either an existing promotion, or you may create a new promotion, and choose from an available territory to promote in.
2. Each promotion in the UWA will have their own set territory and roster of talent. You may not promote outside of your territory or use wrestlers/staff not on your roster without express written permission from the territory's promoter or the promoter who holds that talent's contract.
3. Each promotion is expected to run one show every 30 days. Each promoter is expected to read and reply with support or criticism to their fellow promoter's shows. All comments should be constructive and supportive, even if you have something negative to say. Failure to follow these guidelines will lead to a warning, and could ultimately lead to being removed from the alliance.
4. There are currently three "Universal Championships" which are shared amongst the alliance. Each championship has a booker, which you can find the identity of in the championship booking topics if you so wish to book those champions. If you would like a title change, you should contact that booker. If a booker feels a title change is warranted with one of your talents, they will inform you of this and arrange for it to take place. All championship bookings need to be made it advance and the champion should never be double booked on the same date in two separate promotions.
5. You can sign any and all free talent not currently contracted to another existing promotion. Alive or dead, whatever era you would like, all is allowed in the UWA.
6. All talent transactions need to be made in the proper thread, and rosters must be updated most promptly. Failure to update your roster after a transaction could result in another promotion signing your talent. There is a 24 hour grace period for all transactions. If you would like to make a trade for a talent on a roster controlled by an active promoter, reach out to them privately about making a deal. If you would like to make a transaction for a talent on an inactive roster, but in the talent transactions thread and you should hear back within 24 hours with either an approval or denial.
7. All new promotions will start with 30 talent slots and 5 staff slots. You may sign established tag teams in one slot. Stables may be broken down in sets of two. No more than two wrestlers in established teams may occupy one slot. After 90 days active, you may raise your roster limit to 40 talents and 7 staff. After six months, you will reach the maximum limit of 50 talents and 10 staff. You may use free talent at will without signing them as long as they are not contracted elsewhere or committed to wrestling elsewhere on the same day.
